Sunday Wrestling Workout - Kickoff to a new Week!

So last week I kicked off the week with fitness/health guru Kent Ganevsky and had GREAT results.  This week - I thought I would do the same.  The difference - I took my 13 year old son with me, Parker.

We trained in submission wrestling with Kent yesterday. Check out wrestle.com for pics/videos of folks who are trained....not beginners like Parker and I.  I want to do THAT!!   Truly a great feeling/rush and burn of calories...all while I was having fun!!  Here are a few other websites to check out regarding Kent Ganevsky's skills and abilities.

Anyway....  again, I have to give props to Kent , another great work out. He was able to give both Parker and I training, tips and homework for our next training.  I want to try to work in at least 2 trainings a week - if I can do 3 - I will do 3. It is truly an awesome feeling during and after the work out.

This week - Parker had some fun "throwing" his mom around.  Though he was told to go "half speed" with me....the kid just doesn't know his own strength!!!  lol    Parker thoroughly enjoyed the training and so did I.  Not only did I get a GREAT work out and practiced moves, but I got to have all this fun with my 13 year old too.  That was the icing on the cake.  The session inspired Parker so much that he told me that he wanted to help me get into shape and he wanted to practice moves with me so that I could get better.  If I can quote him for a second, as we were driving away, he says, " Mom...I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything....but you need a lot of work!"  He made me smile from ear to ear as he told me what I needed to do to get stronger and better and his plan to help me.  I do love my baby boy!

Here are pics of the training from  yesterday:

This was a lot of physical energy, hard work....but a lot of fun!!
